This was my first time to the Sapphire Mountain/Cashiers area. The drive here was adventurous and would recommend driving before it gets dark. The roads have lots of twists and turns but don’t let this deter you from this amazing place of refuge. We were able to experience the fun town of Cashiers which has plenty of ecletic shops and the farmers market had wonderful local produce and baked goods. We went to the Whitewater Falls which was about a 30 min drive. This was an easy hike on a paved trail but did include about 150 steps. Micas restaurant had fun evening entertainment with local talent but the best treat was the firepit with smores!!! We also ventured into Brevard where we ate at the Mayberry café and did some local shopping. You can’t miss the sliding rock (basically watersliding down a rock), which has been oh so popular recently on social media. Ingles grocery store is available in Cashiers for grocery shopping if you choose to do more dining at home. Ok now lets get to the cabin.... The house was appointed well with luxurious linens. The rooms towards the back of the house all have access to the wrap around porch where you can get lost in the views of the mountains. This a very secluded home with lots of privacy. Enjoying a hot cup of coffee and sitting in one of the rocking chairs while taking in all God’s beautiful creations was so peaceful and rejuvenating. All rooms had televisions and the downstairs with a open floor plan makes for a perfect place for entertaining or enjoying a movie. One of the highlights was seeing a black bear walk in front of the house. I will be returning here again for sure!

I recently stayed at Cashiers Log Cabin and had a wonderful time. The cabin has amazing views and is a great place to come and relax, very peaceful. I have enjoyed everything the cabin has to offer and love that we have access to the Master Association and I took advantage of the pools and more. Can’t wait to come again!

My girlfriends and I stayed for a long weekend and had the best time! It is quiet and serene and we even saw some wildlife! It is BEAUTIFUL! We could see for MILES! The wrap around porch is a great space to entertain as well as nooks to curl up with a good book and sanctuary. The beds were comfy and cozy and a TV in every room! The water pressure in the showers was great, there was plenty of space for us to spread out as well as intimate spaces for us to gather to chat. and hang out together.
